Steve and the Royal Motel are more return than departure. 20 years ago, he gave up on music, he stopped playing gigs, he left behind the bands. He tried to settle down, dabbling in different jobs over those years, but when the pandemic hit, and he found himself out of work, Steve turned back to songwriting. Now, he’s built a home to house his work.
